The NYC rent report

Each month: what apartments for rent on Nessoo asked across New York City, by borough, neighborhood and apartment size, with the income each median needs and how many fit CityFHEPS limits. Figures come only from groups of 5 or more apartments, and a finished month never changes. The data is free to download.

Nessoo’s listings lean to the upper end of the market, so the report describes what is listed on Nessoo, not every rent in New York City. Each month’s page explains how it is calculated.
